Who am I?
Alcala Web (Raoul Alcala Ruiz), based in Liège, Belgium, is the controller for the data collected on this website. Contact: raoul@alcala-web.be.
What data is collected?
Only what you submit through the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), project type, budget and message. This website does not use advertising tracking cookies.
Why, and for how long?
Your data is used exclusively to answer your request and for the commercial follow-up that results from it. It is kept for a maximum of 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted. It is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Audience measurement
This website counts its visits with Umami, an open source tool I host myself on stats.alcala-web.be. It sets no cookie and does not follow you from one site to another: a visit is recognised through a temporary hash (IP address, browser, salt rotated daily) that the server does not keep. What is recorded is the page viewed, the referring page, the language, the device type and the country. Legal basis: legitimate interest, understanding how the site is used in order to improve it. To opt out, turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser or block the stats.alcala-web.be domain.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of your data. Simply write to raoul@alcala-web.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Processors
Contact form emails are sent through Resend (resend.com). The website and its statistics run on a server I rent from Hetzner (hetzner.com), in Helsinki, Finland, therefore inside the European Union. These providers process data solely to deliver their service.
